Please park your scooter in designated areas.

Starting Spring Semester 2022, the U of A has implemented a forced parking pilot for e-scooters meant to address improper parking.

On-campus scooter riders must now park their scooters in designated areas, which are available throughout the campus. Scooters must be parked at marked scooter corrals, bike racks or at designated bus stops only. Scooter riders can find parking areas on the Spin and Veo app.

Like always, scooter users should be considerate of other pedestrians and practice good etiquette. Scooters must not block sidewalks, doorways, loading zones, bus shelters, buses or any ADA access.

"We hope this plan will accomplish a shared interest in improving scooter parking on campus. We appreciate everyone's participation and patience as we transition to this new system." said Ammen Jordan, active transportation coordinator.

Suggestions for additional parking areas should be emailed to the Office for Sustainability: sustain@uark.edu.
