New 'Leadership How To' Series Continues Into Spring With Topic of Emotional Intelligence

New Student & Family Programs is excited to continue a new leadership initiative for all U of A students, staff and faculty: "Leadership How To." During these workshops, participants will explore specific topics within leadership through immersive activities and discussions. Topics for the "Leadership How Toseries will vary from semester to semester, with this spring's topics including emotional intelligence, mentorship, ethics of leadership and leading authentically.

The first session of the semester will be from 12:30-2:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 4, covering the topic of emotional intelligenceHaving higher emotional intelligence helps you build relationships, reduce team stress, defuse conflict and improve job satisfaction.

Registration for the "How To" workshops is limited, and seats will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
