Compete in the 24-Hour Film Festival
Office of Student Activities

Ever wanted to make a movie? University Programs will host a 24-hour Film Festival at 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26, in the Arkansas Union Verizon Ballroom. For students interested in participating in the competition, there will be an informational meeting at 4:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 25, in the Verizon Ballroom of the Arkansas Union. At this meeting, students will learn the theme and the festival's rules, then be released to make a film in 24 hours. Students will then converge in the Union Theatre for a red-carpet showing of the students' films, complete with a photo booth and free snacks. Prizes will be given to the top three teams.

Students of all skill levels are welcome to participate in this event and can sign up on Hogsync. Students may have teams of more than four students, but each winning team will receive only four prizes.

This event is sponsored by University Programs through the Office of Student Activities and is supported by the Student Activities Fee. For questions or for accommodations due to disability, please contact the Office of Student Activities, osa@uark.edu or call 479-575-5255.
