Webinars, Virtual Info Sessions to Help Employees Navigate Payroll Change

To support all university employees in adapting to more frequent pay, Human Resources is providing informative webinars beginning this week. All U of A employees will begin to receive their pay twice a month instead of monthly, beginning in April 2022.

Employees are encouraged to take advantage of webinars and information sessions about the transition. Smart Money Habits, a webinar presented noon-1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 11, by Regions Bank, will provide practical tips on how to transition from a monthly to a semimonthly payroll schedule. Registration is free for all U of A employees.

Human Resources representatives are also available to answer questions from employees, beginning with the first virtual information session Tuesday, Feb. 15, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. The sessions are informal Q & A conversations that will be offered until the payroll changes are implemented in April.

A complete list of webinar resources and a schedule of information sessions are available on the Human Resources payroll frequency information website, which provides detailed information about the payroll changes.
