The Arkansas Athletic Training Student Association invites students to attend a special lecture on Thriving in Crucial Conversations Friday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. in GRAD 166 (Graduate Education Building Auditorium).

Join us as guest lecturer Jenny Rearick gives her tips for tackling tough situations in the world of sports medicine where clear communication is key. In this 90-minute lecture, you will be exposed to high-level communication and presentation skills training that can improve relationships with the people you work with and serve and increase the effectiveness of your message. The learning objectives of this talk include how to remain professional in crucial conversations, how to plan and prepare for these conversations and how to successfully deliver bad news.

Rearick is a communication and presentation skills coach who has been teaching and coaching professionals on their communication and presentation skills since 2017. She has trained and coached more than 750 corporate and healthcare professionals through her own company, Fit To Speak.
