The Writing Studio Supports Faculty and Your Students: Sign Up for Presentation and Tour

The week of Feb. 21-25 the Writing Studio will be hosting faculty and staff tours! The tour includes a brief presentation about ways the Writing Studio can support faculty and staff in developing student writing.

You may know that the Student Success Center offers free writing support to U of A students, but did you know that the Writing Studio also provides several resources to assist faculty and staff as they support student writers?

For students, the Writing Studio offers:

  • Online and in-person writing consultations

  • Walk-in sessions (no advance scheduling required)

  • In-studio spaces where students can write individually or in groups

  • Online writing guides on a plethora of topics

For faculty and staff, the Writing Studio also offers:

  • Class presentations and workshops

  • Online writing guides you can utilize while teaching

  • Options to receive notification of student visits

  • Guided class tours

  • In-studio class write-ins with on-site writing support

Sign-up for a faculty and staff tour of the Writing Studio and new building, including our Introduction to the Writing Studio presentation, an overview of student resources and information about our in-class and in-studio workshops. Our consultants and staff are excited to welcome you and your students into our new space, and we look forward to supporting students and faculty with all things writing during this and future semesters! If you cannot take a tour at this time, please email us at uawrite@uark.edu to request more information or to schedule a tour at a later date, or visit the Writing Studio website for more information on our resources.
