Last week the Division of Research and Innovation advertised the Early Career Investigator Workshop, while concurrently solicited volunteers to assist in the half-day workshop. We received an overwhelming response from the volunteer pool of university faculty who are recipients of this type of award, providing a unique possibility to give personal attention to writing.

Therefore, the event organizers need further input to structure the event. To take full advantage of the number of volunteers, we need to know two things by Wednesday, Feb. 23:

  1. If you plan on attending the event
  2. If you plan to bring a draft of your project summary or equivalent portion of a grant application

Please email your response to research@uark.edu. Once we have collected this information, the correct number of volunteers may be confirmed. If you are interested in attending, please register in advance.
