Spring 2022 Non-Tenure Track Faculty Event

Join members of the Teaching and Faculty Support Center from 12:30-1:45 p.m., Thursday, March 17, or noon to 1:15 p.m., Friday, March 18, as they share information on how to enhance teaching, research and service obligations. This event is appropriate for all non-tenure track faculty. The goal is for any attendee to walk away with a tip to enhance their ability to excel at the U of A. This event will contain the following speakers and topics:

  • Kathy Sloan, vice provost of faculty affairs — Welcome and Mentoring Programs/Grants
  • Deb Korth — U of A HIPs Conference
  • Carole Shook, TFSC co-director — Regional conferences on teaching and TFSC grants
  • Lynn Meade, TFSC co-director — Tips on how to enhance your teaching skills and national conferences on teaching

Thursday: Nathan Kemper, assistant department chair of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, and Friday: Susan Bristow, assistant department chair of the Department of Information Systems: How to manage it all — teaching, research, service and administration — and how to get involved in service activities on campus.
