Employees Beware: Spoofing Calls Asking for Personal Info
Faculty and staff should be advised that an unknown individual is calling staff members at work, asking for personal information while impersonating a police officer. The culprit is spoofing the UAPD phone number and asking for private cell phone numbers under threat of arrest. UAPD will not call individuals and make such requests.
If you receive a call, hang up and contact UAPD directly at 479-575-2222 by phone or text. Please do not share your personal information to strangers over the phone.
