Arkansas Alumni Association Seeks Applications for Senior Awards

The Arkansas Alumni Association invites seniors from the Class of 2022* to participate in the Senior Awards program. All qualified students are welcome to apply, and faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to share with seniors.

Application Information

Criteria

Seniors of Significance, Razorback Classics and Senior Honor Citations will be selected based upon the following:

  • Academic excellence
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Significant co-curricular involvement
  • Minimum GPA of 3.20**

The Arkansas Alumni Association has supported the Senior Honor Citation program for more than 50 years and led the expansion of the overall senior awards program in 2013 when the Razorback Classics program was renewed. The recognition efforts grew again in 2015 with the addition of the 71 Seniors of Significance program. As the program has grown and the campus has evolved, the association has endeavored to expand our applicant pool for these awards to ensure that the process is comprehensive and recipients are representative of the U of A senior class.

Before proceeding with awards selections this year, the association will work to garner at least 227 applications (5 percent of qualified seniors) to help ensure the Class of 2022 is well represented. The association is determined to continue growing and enhancing its student recognition programs moving forward through consistent evaluation and collaboration with others on campus to help meet university goals for student success, leadership and philanthropy.

* The Class of 2022 includes those graduating in December 2021, May 2022 or August 2022.
** This is the undergraduate average GPA from Spring of 2021
