SOOIE

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2021-22 Outstanding RSO Awards. Nomination forms are available on HogSync and are due by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 10. Only complete nominations will be considered. Nominations are accepted in seven categories:

  • Outstanding Registered Student Organization
  • Outstanding NEW Registered Student Organization
  • Outstanding RSO Program
  • Outstanding RSO Advisor
  • Outstanding RSO Member/Officer of the Year
  • Outstanding Service Project of the Year
  • Outstanding Collaborative Program

Go to the HogSync application.

With over 300 registered student organizations, there are many outstanding programs, members, officers and advisors that positively contribute to the U of A community. Student Organization Outreach and Involvement Experience (SOOIE) will recognize all this hard work through the Student Involvement Awards Banquet. The banquet is slated for Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 6 p.m. in the Arkansas Union Verizon Ballroom.

All nominators will receive an invitation for nominating their peers for an award through HogSync. All nominees will also be extended an invitation. If you know of an outstanding event, member, advisor, officer or group that deserves to be recognized, please apply today. Criteria for each award can be found on the nomination form. Self-nominations are permitted.

Students can also earn an invitation for the banquet by being nominated for or winning any RSO of the Month Awards. However, we welcome all RSO members.

SOOIE is an RSO focusing on outreach and involvement. For more information or any questions about the awards above, please email Kenzie Keyes, SOOIE vice president, at sooievp@uark.edu.
