"What Do You Value in a Chancellor?" Survey Available for Students Until May 15

This spring, all U of A students are encouraged to share their opinions on what qualities they value most in a chancellor at the U of A. Students opinions will be taken into consideration for the selection of the next chancellor, as the data collected from this survey will be shared with the search committee.

The survey, which can be found on a U of A survey site, closes Sunday, May 15.

"I welcome all students to take two to three minutes to complete the survey, as their perspectives are essential to cultivating a campus culture where everyone's voice matters," said Lori Lander, co-chair of the campus belonging initiative and assistant vice chancellor of campus life.

The U of A has officially begun its search for a chancellor as interim Chancellor Charles F. Robinson has led the campus since August 2021. The chancellor search committee, which includes faculty, staff and supporters of the university, are advising U of A System President Donald R. Bobbitt in his candidate consideration. Bobbitt's choice for a candidate will go through final approval by the Board of Trustees of the U of A.
