Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity March of Dimes Kickoff Monday, April 25
Kappa Kappa chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity

The Kappa Kappa chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. cordially invites students, faculty, staff and families to attend the annual March of Dimes Awareness Kickoff at 11:06 a.m., Monday, April 25, on the Arkansas Union South Terrace.

March of Dimes, previously a National Program for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., now a National Initiative, is a United States nonprofit organization that works to improve the health of mothers and babies. Alpha Phi Alpha has led National Efforts every year in both raising funds and awareness.

The Kappa Kappa Chapter here at the U of A annually hosts an event to raise awareness on pre-natal health and wellness. This semester, we chose to hold the event as the kickoff to begin "AlphaWeeKK," our yearly week of events that we use to bring awareness to programs and initiatives near and dear to our fraternity's values. Alpha believes in "providing service and advocacy for our communities," spreading information about the importance of pre-and post-natal health.

This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students who pay the student activities fee. For questions about the event or for accommodations due to disability, please contact Ambrose Gammon, angammon@uark.edu.
