Arab Student Association Gala Wednesday, May 4
The Arab Student Association cordially invites U of A students to attend the Arab Student Association Gala on May 4 at 7 p.m. at the Graduate Hotel, 70 N. East Ave. in Fayetteville. The gala aims to emphasise and educate on the beauty of Arab/Middle Eastern culture through music, traditional clothing and food. A booth will also be arranged for students to learn how to write their name in the Arabic language.
The objective of the Arab Student Association is to create a welcoming and safe environment for students of Middle Eastern descent and students who are interested in learning about Arab culture, traditions and customs.
This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee and is funded by the Associated Student Government. It is free to all currently enrolled students at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville who pay the student activities fee. Spring Bike Drive Refurbishes Old Bikes for New Students
All donated bikes will be given to Pedal It Forward, a local nonprofit that will refurbish your bike and return it to the U of A campus to be gifted to a student in need. Hundreds of students have already benefited.
