U of A's Hill Records to Host Artist Showcase May 3 at George's Majestic

Hill Records, the U of A student-run record label, will host its second artist showcase featuring eight acts on two stages at George's Majestic Lounge on Tuesday, May 3.

This 18 and older event is free to U of A students with a university ID and is $10 for general public tickets. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., and the showcase will run from 5-11 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online.

The showcase will feature Hill Records fan favorites and previous showcase performers H3adcannon, Pat Ryan Key and Foxpaw. New to the showcase and Hill Records are Luke Howard, Midnight South, Adam Posnak, YRLY and Richard Neff.

This is the second time Hill Records has partnered with George's Majestic Lounge for an artist showcase.

"We are very excited to welcome these additional and unique artists to the Hill Records roster," said Raquel Thompson, executive vice president of Hill Records. "Come out and support these local artists by seeing them perform live at our second showcase!"

Thompson said Hill Records also released their debut EP, From The High Ground, earlier this year. The EP features artists chosen in the 2021 round of Hill Records submissions.
