Office of Undergraduate Research Summer Research Grants Available

The Office of Undergraduate Research invites research grant proposals from undergraduate students for Summer 2022. Applications from all majors are welcome from students who are not eligible for the Honors College Research Grant (this includes honors students with less than six credit hours of honors courses).

This research grant will cover a maximum student stipend or hourly wages of $1,000. In addition, the grant will award $500 to the mentor to cover the costs of materials and supplies required to carry out the proposed research. The grant period will extend from June 1 to Aug. 15. The deadline to submit the grant proposal is May 16.  

Full applications should be emailed to our@uark.edu as a single PDF file (mentor letter can be submitted separately):

  • Research proposal (two to three pages) — approximately one-page background, specific aims, research design, timeline
