Students Start Moving Off Campus This Week
Yocum Hall residents enjoy a program called Plant Party where they painted terra cotta pots and picked from a selection of succulent plants. University Housing's resident assistants host dozens of in-hall events for residents each year.
Expect higher levels of traffic around campus this week as more than 6,000 residential students move out of their on-campus homes.
Vehicle and pedestrian traffic related to move-out will peak between Wednesday and Friday.
Mail and package service to the residence halls ends Tuesday. Halls will be closed to most students starting Saturday as University Housing transitions into summer school housing and the summer conferences season.
Please join University Housing in congratulating our on-campus students on successfully completing the academic year. We wish them safe journeys home for the summer.

The resident reserved "red" parking lots will open to most university parking pass holders beginning Monday, May 16, after Spring Commencement. You can find several parking reminders for the campus community in this May 5 University of Arkansas News article from University Parking.
Leave Green
University Housing encourages residential students to "Leave Green" by donating items during move-out this week. Each year, tons of donated items are diverted from the landfill to local agencies who repurpose and reuse these items.
This year, University Housing partnered with St. James Missionary Baptist Church and Oasis of Northwest Arkansas. Those agencies will drive around the residential halls this week and pick up the donated items from designated locations.
