Department personnel can customize requests for Dell and Apple products at the U of A Tech Store

Does your work computer need a refresh? Faculty and staff can request customized or in-stock items through the Tech Store at academically discounted prices.

Get Started

All the colleges on campus have an IT director who is familiar with the standards for their departments. They can assist with recommending specific products and configurations, as well as help initiate an Internal Service Delivery request. PCards and personal reimbursements are generally not allowed to purchase IT assets under the Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) policy. Instead, an internal service delivery request must be created in Workday. There are limited exceptions for technology purchases under $500.

  • For in-stock items, browse the online store or visit the Tech Store in person on Garland Avenue.

  • To create custom quotes, go to the UARK Apple Store or the UARK Dell Store to see current products and special offers.

Create a Quote

  • After you know which items you would like to purchase, contact comstore@uark.edu with the item details to request a quote.

  • The Tech Store will include the appropriate tax in the quote and generate an Internal Service Delivery in Workday for your department or unit.

The U of A Tech Store

The Tech Store provides the following benefits for the campus community:

  • Online shopping with free on-campus delivery (residence halls excluded).

  • Academic discounts from name brand manufacturers such as Apple, Microsoft and Dell for university departments and students.

  • Several hands-on services, including new device set-up and low or no-cost repairs for Apple and Dell devices under warranty.

Appointed employees can also make personal purchases using payroll deduction. Academic discounts apply. Stop by our on-campus location at 616 N. Garland Ave. or shop online
