Sensory Science Center Seeks Undergraduate and Graduate Research Assistants for Summer and Fall

The Sensory Science Center, directed by Han-Seok Seo, an associate professor in the Department of Food Science, is seeking undergraduate and graduate research assistants for Summer and Fall 2022.

The Sensory Science Center conducts basic and applied research to better understand multisensory interaction and transformation to contribute to improved quality of life and wellness through healthy and happy eating behavior.

A total of six self-motivated students will be asked to assist in a variety of research projects, including:

  • Food flavor testing by human senses,
  • Consumer behavior using immersive technology,
  • 3D printing-based research idea commercialization and
  • Consumer psychology in food-related experiences.  

Students do not need to be a food science major. Students do not need to have any knowledge or skills related to food science. Those who have different disciplines are currently working and welcomed at this center.

Students will be compensated on an hourly basis, and work schedules and starting dates can be flexible.
