PRIDE Month: Danielle 'Dani' Bunten Berry
Danielle "Dani" Bunten Berry gained recognition as one of the early visionaries of multi-player video games. Berry earned a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Arkansas, which she used to start her career in the gaming industry. She was a giant in the gaming industry, being credited as the first programmer to develop games for more than two people.
As a trans woman, Berry is also remembered for the gender barriers she broke in the gaming industry. Berry has received several honors, including a lifetime achievement from the Computer Game Developers Association and induction into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame.
