Join the Arkansas Alumni Association for Yappy Hour

Come, sit and stay awhile at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House on Thursday, July 28, for the Arkansas Alumni Association's Inaugural "Yappy Hour." Attendees and their canine friends are invited to the U of A campus for an afternoon of socializing, cold beverages and pet-friendly playtime. Join us for a tail-waggin' good time!

The event will be 4:30-6 p.m. at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House - Alumni Visitor Lot (AVL) off Maple Street.

TICKET PRICES

Arkansas Alumni Association members: $10
Non-members: $15

ADMISSION INCLUDES

  • One food item.
  • Two beverages.
  • Arkansas alumni keepsake handkerchief for you or your pup(s).

Attendees are limited to two pups per paid admission. Enter to win door prizes by donating dry or canned pet food items for Ranger's Pet Food Bank.

This is an outdoor event and open to the public. We welcome friendly dogs of all sizes and breeds with their responsible owners. For the safety of your dog and others, all dogs must remain on a leash and be up to date on all vaccinations. Retractable leashes are not permitted, and please pick up after your pet. Plastic bags, waste receptacles and freshwater stations will be available onsite during the event. The actions of our furry guests are solely the responsibility of their respective owners.
