In June 2022, the University Libraries' Scholarly Communications team gave the virtual presentation "The Handy IR Manager: A Toolkit for Recruitment, Intake, and Promotion" at the North American Serials Interest Group 2022 conference. This presentation draws on the team's success in building the U of A institutional repository, ScholarWorks@UARK. The recording and presentation slides are now available in the repository.

"Other colleges and universities also create valuable research and resources for teaching," said Cedar Claire Middleton, institutional repository coordinator. "We created this presentation to help other repository managers make this wonderful content available to the world."

Opened in the summer of 2015, ScholarWorks@UARK now hosts more than 21 research centers and eight journals, as well as faculty publications and instructional materials. The repository also highlights student work, including Study Abroad photos, literary journals, concert recordings, research posters, honors theses, and graduate theses and dissertations. All of this material is available on the web, free of charge.

"We are thrilled to be able to share all this wonderful material, on the web, free of charge," said Melody Herr, head of the Office of Scholarly Communications. "A great big thank you to everyone across our campus who has contributed in some way."

Take a look at ScholarWorks@UARK. You're sure to find something for you!
