U of A Bands to Hold Fall Concert Band Auditions
The U of A Bands invite all students, regardless of major or instrument, to audition for a Fall 2022 concert band. Two ensembles will be offered, each available as one-credit hour courses offered through the Fulbright College.
Wind Ensemble
MWF, 12:55-2:15 p.m., Chris Knighten (MUEN 1691, 2691, 3691, 4691, 4861 and 5691)
Wind Symphony
MWF, 12:55-2:15 p.m., Jeff Summers (MUEN 1461, 2461, 3461, 4461, 4661 and 5461)
Live auditions will take place Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 20-21, in the Lewis E. Epley Jr. Band Building. Audition excerpts are posted in the "Band Members Only" section of bands.uark.edu, which can be accessed with a university user ID and password. To sign up for an audition, stop by BAND 104.
