Razorback Marching Band to Host Band Day and Twirler Day on Sept. 17

The Razorback Marching Band will host Band Day and Twirler Day when the Hogs take on Missouri State University at 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17.

BAND DAY

All brass, woodwind, percussion and color guard students grades ninth through 12th are invited to rehearse and perform with the "Best in Sight and Sound" inside historic Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. This year's Band Day halftime show includes selections from the songs of Elton John. Music and choreography for the halftime show can be found here.

The event package is $30 and includes the following: 

  • Rehearsal with the Best in Sight and Sound Marching Band and staff
  • A meal with the Razorback Band
  • Lower-level game ticket
  • Halftime performance with the Best in Sight and Sound Marching Band

Parents, family and friends may purchase discounted game tickets at the following price points: $40 lower level / $20 upper level.

TWIRLER DAY

Twirlers from ages 5 and above are invited to join the Razorback Twirlers and Feature Twirlers in halftime performance alongside Band Day participants.

$115 registration includes:

  • one bleacher ticket for twirler in front of the band
  • one ticket for guest (guest of 5-13 yrs old on bleacher; guest of 14 yrs and older in section E120)
  • one T-shirt for the participating twirler
  • Meal for twirler and one guest
  • Instructional video
  • Morning clinic and on-field halftime performance

Up to three additional guest tickets in section E120 may be purchased at $40 each.
