Hill Records Seeks New Student Officers

Hill Records, the U of A's student-run record label, is now accepting applications for student officer positions for the 2022-2023 school year.

The label is seeking passionate and hardworking students to fill four available positions in the areas of operations, communications, design and marketing. All interested students are encouraged to apply regardless of academic background or music industry experience.

Students chosen for the position can expect four to six hours of work per week and will be responsible for promoting and managing the label — working with artists, faculty and other students on projects such as music release and promotion, artist development and performance booking. All undergraduate and graduate students who meet the U of A's RSO officer requirements are eligible to apply.

These unpaid positions offer the unique opportunity of firsthand experience at a record label to students interested in music or entertainment business careers. The application — including a full list of open positions — can be found here. Applications must be completed by 11:59 p.m., Friday, Sept. 16, for full consideration. For more information about Hill Records or the application process, please contact hillrec@uark.edu.
