International Festival Sunday at the Botanical Garden

The annual International Festival is a celebration of culture, diversity and inclusion! It will be held from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks.

The event is free and open to the public. The Multicultural Center will be providing a shuttle bus to transport students to the Botanical Garden. The shuttle schedule will be as follows:  

Schedule   

• 2:30 p.m. — Pickup at U of A

• 3:30 p.m. — Pickup a U of A

• 4:30 p.m. — Pickup at Botanical Gardens

• 5:30 p.m. — Pickup at U of A 

• 6:30 p.m. — Pickup at Botanical Gardens

• 7:30 p.m. — Pickup at Botanical Gardens

Pickup Locations
Location for the U of A pickup will be at Lot 44 of Razorback Stadium by the Hog Fountain, and the location for drop-off will be the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks at 4703 N. Crossover Rd. in Fayetteville.

The festival is an opportunity to taste foods from around the world from various food trucks and vendors. The event will also feature traditional dance performances and demonstrations. Participants can also explore shady areas of the garden and visit booths featuring arts and crafts, displays, cultural items for sale and more. Lastly, participants can talk to experts on resources for immigrants, refugees and other marginalized communities.  

This event is the last day of Welcoming America's "Welcoming Week," a series of events nationwide bringing together immigrants, refugees and native-born residents to affirm the importance of welcoming and inclusive places in achieving collective prosperity. Help us in creating this welcoming and inclusive place at the Botanical Garden and in Northwest Arkansas as a whole!
