UARK Wellness Encourages Students to Take Health Survey

UARK Wellness is preparing to launch the National Collegiate Health Assessment survey on Sept. 26, and participants will have until Oct. 21 to complete it. The NCHA is an anonymous and confidential survey that assesses student health and wellness across all dimensions and areas of their lives, including:

  • Resilience

  • Mental health

  • Alcohol, smoking and substance use

  • Food security

  • Homelessness

  • Sleep

  • Weight, nutrition and exercise

  • Personal safety and violence

  • Utilization of on- and off-campus services, including, but not limited to, mental health, physical health and gynecologic services

The NCHA is conducted by the American College Health Association (ACHA) and is a nationally recognized research survey that UARK Wellness utilizes to guide health and wellness programming for the U of A campus. It is simple and easy to complete in about 20-30 minutes. ACHA selects a random sample from our enrolled student population of 6,500 participants. If selected, you will receive an email notification with instructions on how to complete the NCHA. The survey is completely confidential; your email address or name will not be attached to your responses.

This is your opportunity to help guide health and wellness programming for the U of A campus! From the completed pool of participants, ACHA will randomly select five email addresses as winners of a $100 Amazon gift card for your time and participation.
