Four industrial engineering students recently received scholarships from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers totaling over $9,500. The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, the world's largest professional society dedicated solely to the support of the profession, is an international, nonprofit association that provides leadership for the application, education, training, research and development of industrial and systems engineering.

Each year, the institute formally recognizes the accomplishments of prominent practitioners and students with a variety of awards, scholarships and fellowships. The scholarship and fellowship program recognizes graduate and undergraduate industrial engineering students for academic excellence and campus leadership.
