Get Involved With Rotaract
Samantha Giudice

Get involved this fall with Rotaract! If you don't know us, we're an on-campus student organization dedicated to community service and helping our members develop leadership and professional skills.

This week, Rotaract is hosting a mocktail fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 26-27, outside the Arkansas Union. We're hoping to raise $500 to work towards our big project this year — bringing 30 water filters to Panama. Stop by for a trick-or-treat shot, some witch's cauldron or a Shirley's temple. Remember all drinks are non-alcoholic and spooky-themed!

As part of our community service, we're also hosting Socktober, an event for students to donate socks that Rotaract will be giving to the Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter. You can donate new socks from 6-7 p.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 25, in Mullins 452/453 at Rotaract's regular member meeting, and from 12:30-2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, in the Honors Lounge in Gearhart Hall 166. We hope to see you support our events!
