College of Education and Health Professions Seeks 2023 Alumni Award Nominations

The College of Education and Health Professions is accepting nominations for the 2023 Alumni Awards. Recommendations from faculty, staff, students, alumni and the community are welcome.

This year's deadline is midnight CST on Friday, Dec. 2.

Three people are named each year, representing the two halves of the college plus a noteworthy recent graduate. The awards honor alumni of the college who have excelled in professional and personal achievement and earned distinction in their fields.

The categories are:

  • Outstanding Alumni Award in Education 

Awarded to a COEHP graduate who has demonstrated exceptional professional and personal achievement, community service, and achieved extraordinary distinction in the field of education.

  • Outstanding Alumni Award in Health and Human Services 

Awarded to COEHP graduate who has demonstrated exceptional professional and personal achievement, community service, and achieved extraordinary distinction in the field of health and human services.

  • Outstanding Young Alumni Award 

Awarded to a COEHP alumnus who has graduated in the past 10 years. Nominees should be engaged in their first career and demonstrate exceptional professional and personal achievement and extraordinary distinction in either education or health and human service professions.

Nominations should be submitted via an online form.

The college's Dean's Advisory Council established the awards in 2011. Recipients are honored at the College of Education and Health Professions' spring commencement.
