Submitted by Pre-Med Hogs

Pre-Med Hogs invites students to attend the Pre-Med Hogs Fall Suture Clinic from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 3, in Science Engineering Building room 206. This event provides an opportunity to learn and practice suture techniques while being instructed by physicians and APRNs from around Northwest Arkansas.

Students can RSVP to the event through HogSync. Registration is currently open and will remain open until 40 spots are filled for the suture clinic. Free suture kits will be provided to all students in attendance, along with refreshments.

By hosting this suture clinic, we hope to provide a space for pre-medical students to come together and form connections with each other and with medical professionals in the Northwest Arkansas Community. Students will have the opportunity not only to learn and practice different suture techniques, but also to interact with and ask questions to several physicians and APRNs from around the area.

This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students who pay the student activities fee. This event is held in a venue that meets ADA standards. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend this event. If you require a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this event, please contact Lyndsey Dugan at medhogs@uark.edu or 479-301-5047 by five business days prior to the event.
