J'onnelle Colbert-Diaz has joined the User Solutions team in the Division of Finance and Administration, reporting to James Morrison, senior director of User Solutions. Colbert-Diaz is the director of Human Capital Management Solutions, focused on designing and implementing frictionless, user-friendly solutions for faculty and staff members.

"J'onnelle has already jumped in and started making significant changes to improve the Workday user experience — not only at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, but in support of our entire system," Morrison said. "Her strategic mind, knowledge of policy and ability to turn opportunities into meaningful solutions have been invaluable to the U of A throughout her career. Those qualities will continue to be crucial to enabling the successes of our campus community in this new role."

Colbert-Diaz has 15 years of experience working at the U of A. She also earned a bachelor's degree from the U of A and is a certified HR professional.

Making Your Day Work

Morrison recently joined the university to lead Workday optimization initiatives and improve user experience. He, Colbert-Diaz and other User Solutions team members are committed to "making your day work" by empowering users; driving value for students, faculty and staff; and creating awareness.

As User Solutions continues to enhance digital tools and business processes with innovative solutions, the team is planning on-campus roadshow events and creating new training materials to launch in 2023, as well as brainstorming other engaging ways to increase the adoption of time-saving platforms and practices.
