New to Campus? Get Started with Tech
Technology plays an important role in learning and living at the U of A! Get familiar with tech resources so you're confident and ready to go during your first week of classes. The first step is ensuring you can access your UARK account and email. If this is the first time logging into email, you may be prompted to register for multi-factor authentication.
Email is provided through Office 365 Outlook. Log into Outlook Online with your UARK email address (including @uark.edu) and password.
IT Services also provides resources such as:
- Free and reduced cost software including Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Cloud storage to ensure your files are safe and accessible
- Equipment and laptop checkout through the Student Technology Center
If you'd like to purchase your own computer, the Tech Store can match one specifically to your major. The Tech Store also offers a Service Center to provide diagnosis and repair work on all computers and laptop devices.
Laser printing is available in Tech Spot labs. Color printing is available in the Arkansas Union, Mullins Library and J.B. Hunt Center labs. To retrieve your print job in a Tech Spot lab, scan the QR code posted on the printer and follow the instructions on your screen.
It is essential to protect your identity and devices from cybersecurity threats. Complete the quick cybersecurity checklist to ensure you keep your data and university resources safe from attacks.
Need help? The IT Help Desk provides support seven days a week in the Arkansas Union, as well by virtual chat online or by phone.
