Have you always wanted to send your child to camp, but you just aren't sure where they will be, what they will be doing and who they will be with? Getting these questions from parents, families and guardians led the College of Engineering to hold its first Camp Preview Day.

The preview day will offer an opportunity for families to tour College of Engineering facilities, hear a presentation about college programs and participate in an open Q&A session with Teresa Simpson, assistant director of summer programs. There is no cost to attend, but space is limited.

While guardians learn about what students will be up to during summer camps, students will participate in hands-on engineering activities like those that happen during the camps.

To wrap up preview day, guardians and students will enjoy lunch and be able to mingle with camp staff.

The program is open to any current fifth through eighth grade students and their guardians. It will take place in Bell Engineering Center at 800 W. Dickson St. in Fayetteville from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 11.

Complete registration here. There are only 50 available spots for this program, so interested families are encouraged to register soon.

For questions about Camp Preview Day, contact Teresa Simpson at engrcamp@uark.edu or 479-387-3805.
