Better In Black Photo Exhibit Opens Today in the Anne Kittrell Gallery
Better in Black: Celebrating Black Excellence is a photo exhibit featuring current U of A students, staff and faculty, and it celebrates the NOW of Black excellence on the U of A campus.
The gallery exhibit features more than 60 portraits captured by photographers and U of A alums Nik Harper (@niftywitha50) and LaQuan Williams (@Qphotography), as well as a behind-the-scenes video of the process produced by Visionary and Natalie Zeta (@shotbyzeta). Better in Black is presented by the Center for Multicultural and Diversity Education, with creative direction by AnReckez Daniels, assistant director of multicultural programming and diversity initiatives.
The exhibit opens today in the Anne Kittrell Gallery on the Arkansas Union's fourth floor. An opening reception will be held tonight, Feb. 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibit will be on display from Feb. 13 to Feb. 28.
