The Office of New Student and Family Programs is offering a series of in-person talks with the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. Students who are the first in their family to complete a college degree are encouraged to attend, but the series is open to all U of A students and staff.

Three topics will be on three dates and have three components: lecture, interaction and questions:

  • Grants and Work-Study — 1-1:45 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 29, in Arkansas Union 503
  • Loans — 1-1:45 p.m. Friday, April 7, in Arkansas Union 511
  • Scholarships — 1-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, in Arkansas Union 511

Participants may want to bring login and passwords they have created for aid applications and a phone or laptop to access them. Examples: Federal Aid (FAFSA) FSA ID, the State Aid Arkansas Department of Higher Educaiton (ADHE) - SAMs, U of A scholarship application.
