Thad Turman Joins User Solutions Supporting Finance Workday Processes

Thad Turman has joined the U of A's User Solutions team in the Division of Finance and Administration, reporting to James Morrison, senior director of user solutions. Turman will serve as the director of finance solutions, focused on designing and implementing frictionless, user-friendly solutions for faculty and staff members.

Turman joined the university from Tarleton State University, which is a member of the Texas A&M System. At Tarleton State, he served as the director of procurement and contracts. Prior to that, he was the director of business affairs for Northeastern State University and is a NIGP Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP). Turman brings a broad background supporting financial processes in higher education, which will help him as he engages the campus to "make your day work."

User Solutions is responsible for the enterprise system user experience on the U of A campus. The team's initial focus is enhancing and optimizing Workday's capabilities with business process and user needs. The team serves as the focal point for technology-enhanced efficiency, accuracy and analytical capabilities of university enterprise systems. It provides expertise in business process design, a technical understanding of enterprise resource planning, and university strategy.
