Seeking Student Hires for Annual Seatbelt Study

The Freight Data Research Lab is hiring three students to help conduct the 2023 seatbelt study this summer. The seatbelt study is a research project that requires a team to travel to about 14 counties in Arkansas to observe seatbelt usage among drivers and passengers.
The trip is scheduled from May 28 through June 11, with an extra week that students would need to be available in case any sites need to be revisited due to weather. All travel costs including hotel, food and vehicles will be covered, so no costs are incurred by the students. The students will be paid $17.50 per hour and time-and-a-half for any overtime work. Typically, this totals to around $2,000 for two weeks of work, with meals and hotels included during this time.
Since the study requires travel around the state in rental vehicles, students applying for the job need to have valid driver's licenses and clean driving records.
