Responsible Conduct of Research and Export Control Training for Faculty, Staff and Students

Responsible Conduct of Research and Export Control Training for Faculty, Staff and Students
University of Arkansas

Attention! Faculty, staff and students:

  • Do you work a federally funded award?
  • Do you plan on applying for federal funding?
  • Do you work with collaborators from other institutions?
  • Do you travel to foreign countries for your research?
  • Do you use highly specialized equipment for your research?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then mark your calendars and join us on Monday, May 1, to learn about the latest developments in Responsible Conduct of Research and Export Control Compliance!

The Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences has partnered with the U of A Research Integrity & Compliance Office to offer this training that focuses on educating faculty, staff and students on the federal, state and university policies that guide research activities on our campus.

New guidance from many of our federal sponsors is being implemented this year with more changes on the way. Many of these changes are a result of the National Security Presidential Memorandum-33 and the CHIPS and Science Act. This training is an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to catch up on these requirements, learn more about research integrity at the U of A and how you can protect yourself, your students and programs from non-compliance.

During this training our campus experts will discuss responsible conduct of research, export control compliance and how you can complete the required training modules in CITI Program.

How to Join

  • In person: Monday, May 1, 2:30-4 p.m. in Giffels Auditorium (located in Old Main)
  • Online: Register here to attend online.

This training will be recorded and posted online after the event.
