Bumpers College Selects 13 Students to Serve as 2023-24 Ambassadors

Thirteen students from across the college have been selected to serve as 2023-24 ambassadors for U of A's Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences.

Following an application and interview process, they were selected to work both on-campus and off-campus recruiting events, to assist with Dean's Office and college-wide events, serve as representatives of the college, help with retention efforts and connecting with students, assist in other recruiting functions, and share the philosophy and benefits of enrollment in the college to prospective students, parents and alumni.

The group includes:

  • Madison Estepp, lead ambassador, senior, agricultural education
  • Jimena Rodriguez, senior, animal science
  • Molly Parker, junior, agricultural business
  • Abby Lunn, junior, food science
  • Alexis Fiorentino, senior, pre-professional animal science
  • Elizabeth Tribout, sophomore, agricultural business
  • Evan Seay, sophomore, agricultural communications
  • Schyler Angell, junior, agricultural communications
  • Caroline Cheek, sophomore; environmental, soil and water science; and English rhetoric and composition
  • Malinalxochitl Ilhuicamina, sophomore, food science
  • Noah Boggs Riley, senior, human development and family sciences
  • Abigail Norsworthy, senior, crop science and agricultural business
  • Abbigail Slaughter, sophomore, poultry science and agricultural business

Estepp, Rodriguez, Parker, Lunn and Fiorentino served as ambassadors in 2022-23.

The ambassadors report to Laykyn Rainbolt, coordinator of undergraduate student recruitment.

"I am so excited for this group to represent the college over the next year," she said. "What an honor it is to stand beside such bright, energetic students in my first year of the job. I have no doubt they will make it one to remember for myself, the college and prospective students all over the state of Arkansas and the nation."
