Christa Bentley, assistant professor of musicology, spoke on a panel at the Arlington Museum of Art as a part of their current exhibit, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Collection." The panel created a conversation engaging Swift's fans, bringing theory, context and critical discussion together with the enthusiasm that Swift has generated during her current tour and ongoing re-recording project.

Bentley is co-editing a collected volume on the artist titled Taylor Swift: The Songs, The Star, The Fans with Paula Harper of the University of Chicago and Kate Galloway of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute through Routledge Press. The panel consisted of Bentley, Harper and contributor Chelsea Burns of the University of Texas at Austin and was moderated by podcast host Lacey Gee of 13: A Taylor Swift Fan Podcast.

The U.S. leg of the Eras Tour concludes in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, and the exhibit will be on display through September 2023.
