The Graduate Society of Women Engineers at the U of A is often called GradSWE. GradSWE is a group belonging to the greater international Society of Women Engineers, the world's largest advocate and catalyst for change for women in engineering and technology.

The Labor Day Cookout will be from nooon to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4. RSVP for the location.

Join us for a delightful gathering to kick off another exciting semester with GradSWE! Calling all graduate students who are passionate about championing women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields — this event is tailor-made for you!

Get ready to indulge in a scrumptious cookout filled with not just delicious food, but also fantastic networking opportunities and a hearty dose of fun. Whether you're looking to connect with fellow students, share experiences or simply unwind and enjoy good company, this is the perfect occasion.

We've got you covered on transportation too! Let us know if you need a carpool or ride assistance when you RSVP — your convenience is our priority.
