Student taking the 2023 Arkansas Highway Safety Awareness Survey

The U of A College of Engineering's Department of Civil Engineering is partnering with the Arkansas Highway Safety Office to enhance traffic safety campaigns throughout the state. In an effort to create impactful and positive traffic safety initiatives that will contribute to safer roadways for all, the university is seeking valuable input from Arkansas residents.

Arkansas residents have a unique opportunity to participate in a survey aimed at gauging opinions and attitudes toward traffic safety campaigns. The survey, designed to take approximately 15 minutes, promises to yield insights that can make a significant impact on road safety for the entire community. Participation is entirely voluntary; the survey's results will be anonymized and reported only in summary form.

Each respondent's honest perspective is of utmost importance, as there are no right or wrong answers. The aim is for participants to engage with each question and provide their genuine opinions. Participate in the survey.

The U of A and the Arkansas Highway Safety Office believe that this collaboration will lead to safer roadways by gathering information about Arkansans' opinions and driving habits, and they extend their gratitude to all participants for their essential contributions. Any questions about the survey can be directed to the research team via email at freightdata@uark.edu.
