Robert Powell, instructor for the hospitality management program in the School of Human Environmental Sciences, is featured on WalletHub this month. Powell was chosen by WalletHub to participate on a panel of 16 experts who provided information and opinions on the best airline credit cards.

The panel was made up of travel experts who addressed four questions posed by WalletHub:

  • Why is it so hard to tell how much airline miles are worth?
  • How often does someone need to fly to justify getting an airline miles credit card?
  • What should a frequent traveler look for in an airline credit card?
  • What are the biggest mistakes people make with airline miles and credit cards?

In addition to the panel responses, the article covers the editor's picks for the best airline credit cards and provides tips for choosing and using them.

Powell provides instruction remotely from home as well as while he is traveling, using those real-world experiences to teach about the hospitality industry in real time. Next month he will take his students with him virtually as he climbs Mount Kilimanjaro. Learn more about Powell and this trip on The Online Learner blog for U of A Online.
