Chancellor Robinson to Give State of the University Address on Oct. 11

Chancellor Charles Robinson will discuss the University of Arkansas’ 150 Forward strategic planning process as well as some of the shared successes of the past year in his State of the University address at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, in the Faulkner Performing Arts Center. 

The address is open to the public and will also be streamed live on the University of Arkansas YouTube channel

“It’s been a historic year for the University of Arkansas, but the best is yet to come,” Robinson said. “By working together as one university and building on our recent achievements in the areas of student success, research excellence, and employer of choice, we can elevate the U of A to even greater heights.”

The campus is currently in the third phase of the 150 Forward strategic planning process as colleges, schools and divisions collectively align strategies in support of advancing the university’s land-grant mission. This fall, the U of A set a record for enrollment for the third-consecutive year, welcoming more than 32,000 students for the first time in its history, including a record number of Arkansans enrolled.
