Tech Integrity Badge

The Cordes Teaching and Faculty Support Center is pleased to recognize 18 not-so-new faculty members with the Tech Integrity Badge. In September, not-so-new faculty, defined as faculty in their third or greater years of service at the U of A, had the opportunity to participate in programming on campus offered by the center, submit a reflection and be recognized with an electronic badge.

The program that qualified for the badge was the Student Panel: Using Technology Effectively to Lessen Academic Integrity Concerns held twice in September and led by Chris Bryson of the Academic Initiatives and Integrity Office and Kathryn Zawisza of TIPS, both of whom served as co-sponsors of the badge.

The Tech Integrity Badge was designed to show faculty members' commitment to providing enhanced commitment to academic integrity issues combined with technology and teaching needs. It is also designed to provide recognition to not-so-new faculty who are committed to the development of their teaching skills during in their careers at the U of A.
