Reminder to Complete Cybersecurity Training

This is a reminder that all faculty and staff are required to complete the annual 2023-2024 cybersecurity training in Blackboard. This six-part training should take approximately 45 minutes and must be completed by Dec. 22, 2023.

To access the training, log into Blackboard and find the training listed under "Courses." If you are having trouble accessing the training, please contact the IT Help Desk for assistance. For questions related to security, contact the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer at security@uark.edu

Securing our campus community is an ongoing effort as cybercriminals continue to evolve their efforts. In this era of persistent cyber threats, our university can be secure only with the active participation of everyone. Simple steps like storing data securely in OneDrive, avoiding and reporting suspicious messages and keeping software updated can go a long way toward protecting our campus community. Visit the cybersecurity checklist for more information.
