Meals Provided for Students Staying on Campus Over Winter Break

Are you a student who is staying on campus over winter break? Do you need a reliable and affordable way to get meals while the dining halls are closed? If so, you might be interested in a service that provides free meals for students in need.

University Housing, the Jane B. Gearhart Food Pantry and U of A Cares are partnering to provide meals for students staying in the residence halls during winter break.

While most residence halls remain open during the break, the campus dining halls close at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, which may limit meal options for students who opt to stay on campus during the break. For a complete list of halls and communities that remain open, please visit the Contract Date webpage managed by University Housing.

If you are a student looking to request meals over the winter break, it's as easy as filling out an interest form to indicate the dates you need meals, your dietary restrictions and related tools you have at your disposal.

Students should expect follow up communication to verify the details via their UARK email.

Fill out this form by Friday, Dec. 10, to reserve your meals today.
