Rush Crush: U of A Film Society Seeking Cast and Crew for Short Film

The Film Honors Society, a production-based registered student organization, is looking for a cast and crew for their short film, "Rush Crush," to be produced this coming semester. Auditions and applications are open now until Friday, Dec. 22. No prior experience is necessary.

The film follows college freshman Violet, infatuated with a sorority girl, who decides to rush — but the process may require more than her own blood, sweat, and tears.

After dedicating their fall to brainstorming, writing and refining the short film's script, Film Society is looking to cast within the first week of Winter Break. A remote readthrough and preproduction brainstorms will take place over the break, and filming will be anywhere from late February to early March.

Adjustments to the timeline can be found on the RSO's Instagram page (@uarkfilmsociety) or their GroupMe linked here. For more information on the Film Honors Society or the short film project, email them at film@uark.edu or view their LinkTree, linked here.
