Take a Study Break With the University Libraries

As finals approach, the University Libraries have teamed up with partners across campus to offer study breaks that are free and open to all U of A students. All breaks will be held in the east lobby of Mullins Library unless otherwise noted. Mullins Library will also offer extended hours

Monday, Dec. 4 

  • 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. — Drop-in consultations with the Writing Studio in MULN 410

  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Legos and snacks with the College of Engineering

Tuesday, Dec. 5 

  • 12-2:15 p.m. — Drop-in consultations with the Writing Studio in MULN 410

Wednesday, Dec. 6 

  • 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Holiday cards and treats with Hogs for Health

Thursday, Dec. 7 

  • 9-11 a.m. — Coffee and cookies with the Honors College

Friday, Dec. 8 

  • 9-11 a.m. — Stress relief items, test-taking materials, hot chocolate and coffee with UARK Wellness

Sunday, Dec. 10

  • 10 p.m. to midnight — Donuts with Cru

Monday, Dec. 11 

  • 9 a.m. - Bagels, juice and coffee with the University Libraries

  • 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Button making, movies, coloring and snacks with Special Collections in MULN 439

  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Therapy dogs in MULN 452-453 (registration required)

  • 4-7 p.m. — Hot chocolate bar with Greek Life 

Tuesday, Dec. 12 

  • 8:30-11 a.m. — Coffee with the Office of Academic Initiatives and Integrity 

  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Therapy dogs in MULN 452-453 (registration required)

  • 12-2 p.m. — Chick-fil-A, donuts, coffee and energy drinks with the Associated Student Government

Wednesday, Dec. 13 

  • Morning — Snacks and coffee with Fulbright College 

  • 5-7 p.m. — Coffee with University Recreation

Thursday, Dec. 14

  •  10 a.m. — PopTarts and coffee with the Global Campus
